In Robert Greene's Mastery, he lists numerous individuals who seemed to develop a passion as a child. The famed Leonardo Da Vinci was one such individual, where due to being born out of wedlock, he was forbidden from attending the University that would have led to a noble profession. Left to himself, he would traverse the woods where he began his drawings. From an early age, his perception of organic material led him to the question of what makes things grown and transform where he developed the desire to figure things out and do things for his own self. In apprenticing with an artist, Da Vinci would continue to do things his way, through his own passions. His personal drive and nonconformity led his teacher to somewhat despise him, the same sentiment probably shared by the local community who all were looking for the same patterns in their artwork. But, Da Vinci had a drive to do more, and to do things his way, to express regardless if anyone took note. Hence, moving to Milan, he setup shop and continued to do his work the way he wanted. As an example, Da Vinci would attempt the first paintings of Angels with realistic wings. He would study aviary, the geometry and mechanics of flight, to push his artwork further. To do so without fame or profit, Da Vinci was moved solely by his own personal desire, his own passion, what Robert Greene described as his "inclination". From Da Vinci's path, as well as many others described in Mastery, seems to support the "follow your bliss" sentiment. Being in the Vortex as Abraham Hicks would say, you simply take a step forward in the direction that seems to have the most "inclination", the most love, the most joy, the most bliss, and keep proceeding from there. This process is substantially different from what typical conformed society has consistently propagated, where from an early age, children are placed in a boxed room and force fed information society expects them to learn to keep the wheel of society turning. Looking back at my own schooling, how little time was actually provided to absorb and process before the next batch of factual information would be forced unto us, and I mean forced given that it was expected to be memorized and understood in someone else's allotted time-frame. How much of the curriculum does the child get to dictate based on his or her own "inclination". Further, I have often felt that every parent/teacher should know their child's natal astrology to discover their interests, and psychological way of comprehension, to help push them in the direction they would desire. Nonetheless, our society seems to be driven on practicality, we need to financially support ourselves, and even a worse belief, we need to find emotional support outside of ourselves. Hence, though one may have an "inclination", they may seek another route that would lead to more finances, or more fame or social status that would bring in love, respect, honor, etc. We're taught to seek these things from outside of ourselves, as opposed to following our own inner resonance and inclinations. Through the law of attraction teachings, the idea is to stay in the resonance of your bliss, your "inclinations", which will lead you to what you need in the moment. Such philosophy is contrary to societal beliefs, where extensive childhood and adult education is required to prepare for a "future", as opposed to living in the Now, or accepting presence-energy, and acting out of inclinations. It pulls us out of truly living in the moment, where intuitive impulses will assist in directing. Like spending an hour just listening to music, we often shuffle through our music looking for songs that best suit the current mood or uplifts it. Same with our lives, it seems like individual like Da Vinci, Mozart, Darwin, Marie Curie, Albert Einstein (named in Mastery), and other individuals like Nikolai Tesla and Carl Jung, all followed an inner drive that was discovered within them from an early age, where they simply fed it to expand those interests. Though the law of attraction sounds a bit new agey, in fact, it appears to be the preeminent teaching to enter into the Age of Aquarius, or "freedom" from the mystical mysterious Age of Pisces, there appears to be numerous elevated individuals who have this common unity. However, this material is not taught in formal education systems, and many of us are still clinging onto paths that were given to us by others (parents, education, sociology, politics, etc.), going against the grain and following your hearts' desire seems to be the key to enter the realm of genius, not necessarily a proper education. So get into a feeling of bliss, take steps that will further that bliss, and perpetually drink of the Universe till your heart is content. If you have a passion for something, feed it impulsively like there's no one watching/judging.

Throughout my life, from loved ones to educators to simple acquaintances, I've constantly been in conversations where the other individual is assessing God's will. Such seems to be the most prevalent when it comes to judging someone else. As an example, just recently someone expressed that God has to teach another a Karmic lesson due to certain intimate circumstances. Going through a strict protestant education, I've always felt the mental anguish of "who are you to decide God's will". It seems this sect believes they have a stronger connection to God as compared to every other creed, giving them the ability to consistently judge and look down upon those not of their creed. I didn't buy into that as a child, and I'm mean really, how is our puny human ego brain capable of understanding the infinite and beyond to the point where we can judge another's story. It's Wayne Dyers, "how people treat you is their karma, how you react is yours". (summation). These conversations seem to stem from the whole "karma" or "judgment day" ideologies, one where there appears to be a guiding hand that's not afraid to put the smack-down. Currently, I'm attempting to assess the truth of such philosophies, now believing that they are "malleable" concepts that need to be shifted for the modern world. For me, for God to be unconditional love, then God cannot condemn as described in our ideologies. As better expressed in prior posts, Karma is basically "limiting thought forms/beliefs". Judgment Day is better defined as assessing a situation. When assessing the merits, the polarity of a circumstances, we seek the truth, a "revelation" if you will, akin to our adversarial judiciary system. However, karma and judgment day are not punishment as expressed in our penal system, but modes of acquiring truth, the great "revelation". Sure, you can wait till your metaphorical "end of days" to finally assess your life, or you can do it in the present by invigorating your own logic to seek wisdom regarding one's present circumstances. Though such task is rather difficult, particularly in a world obsessed with remedy, penalty, and overall pointing the finger outward as opposed to inner exploration, to point the finger at oneself can spiral one into depressions. We judge others harshly to the point where we fear that finger of shame pointed at self. Just take a look at modern politics, with the top two opponents pointing the finger at each other whenever their own record is brought up for display. As an example, Trump's employment record regarding discrimination against veterans was recently pushed forward, where Trump's response was to blame Hillary for not supporting the troops more. Hillary has similarly done vice-versa. A distraction and "poison the well" type of argument, it nonetheless seems to work on the masses. Though we can blame our leaders, we as "just little individuals" continually do the same. Hence, our inner world is reflected in the external circumstances, in the bigger picture. It seems the ancients believed the universe to be a "relative" reflection of the individual. Hence, Tibetan Buddhists have to learn to love every aspect of the Universe, as the Universe is a mirror, a reflection, of the self. Therefore, to unconditionally love the Universe, is to unconditionally love the self. Getting there is the "purgatory" where we constantly either ignore our karmic/judgment thought system until it blows up, or we be our own "judge" and seek Truth/Wisdom from assessment of our circumstances. That seems to be the case in doing this type of "judgment" practice, where I've constantly dug within my subconscious to find more dirt that seems to be holding me back from my heaven. Often times, what I find is emotionally addictive leaving me in a depressive complex until higher consciousness/thinking pulls me from my shadow. Well, simply put, it's just much easier to point the figure then to walk through hell. To sum it up, I think our masters taught to assess "oneself" instead of pointing the finger that is more so prevalent in our society. It's the whole "let ye who is without sin cast the first stone" teaching, which is most likely the most ignored teaching. Sure, I can banter and play the role of judge, that's the way we've been raised to think. But, I'm finding that self-exploration, particularly when a trigger arises, is the real spiritual work in helping shine light into my shadow. On a larger scale, I'm finding that this practice may be better suited for the world, where we have sought to destroy in the name of divinity as opposed to strengthen one's own search. Again, we tend to point the figure outward more, as opposed to walking through one's own "valley of the shadow of death". We would much rather prove our adversary wrong, as opposed to discover our own truth.
I started the practice of identifying with "awareness", or Self-Realization back around January 2014. Before that, I realize now, my reactions and decisions to life were based solely around ego-identity. These decisions are based on external belief systems as opposed to following a resonance, or intuitive impulse. By engaging in "awareness'' you tap out of the ego-identity to get a short-break from the maya story-line that is your life. In that break, you tap into the infinite, source. From here, we're capable of directing source energy to find our correct resonance for law of attraction manifestation. Basically, as holding the gifts of the original creator (shiva-awareness-self realization), you have the power to manifest your life (shakti-witness-nature/prakriti realization). My life completely shifted around the early years of 2014, with the end of a 7+ year relationship that identified with my ego-identity in my pursuit of what I believed I was supposed to be doing under societies limiting definitions. It was to find the good wife, the good job that will hopefully make the rat race quicker and further inflate my ego, raise some kids, hopefully have some fun on the way, then die. In using my imagination to find what would bring me happiness, boy was my ego fooling myself. I need to be unrestrained and free to create as I see fit, something I'm still trying to figure out in this corporate/capitalist structure, but passionate about finding. My conscious thinking has completely changed since beginning these practices. It's like I'm my own psychoanalyst now, dissecting and clearing thought-patterns. As an example, in using my imagination to find the perfect partner, I emotionally engaged in numerous settings with different types of women from all walks of life. What type of personality would I enjoy the most? What type of sensual expressions would I enjoy the most? What type of intellect would I enjoy the most? What type of adventures would I enjoy the most? What type of physical features would I enjoy the most? Basically, what I was consciously attempting to craft was, what I think would be my perfect woman, a desire to end all other desires. My original goal was to completely eliminate this desire, to transcend, to recognize that all is sourced from within. But, this inclination won't go away leaving me heart-sick, especially during astrological retrograde seasons. SoIn using my imagination to conjure who she would be, I found numerous psychological obstacles. First came fear with the belief arising that she may not exist, or would rather choose someone else. That then led to depression. From the depths of depression, that's when I had to disengage into "awareness" and attempt to move out and into psychoanalyst mode. In the darker thought-emotions, I began to remember the law of attraction. Under these teachings, if I can imagine her, I can manifest her. So I pulled myself back into psychically attempting to feel what it would be like to be with such a female and succeeded. Then came a significant drop in my sense of self-worth. My ideal feminine, what if I'm unworthy of her? This was more difficult, back into harsher depression, then again remembering law of attraction, and then engaging the inner psychoanalyst to challenge self-worth beliefs. I needed to move energetically-emotionally into the position of being perfect and the highest ideal for her also. Though it took some effort, I managed to fully engage in the emotion of what it feels like to be with my perfect co-creator and blissfully relax into that emotion. So she has unfolded within. She is my soul/spirit/breathe-mate bridged in matter.
My last teacher and liberator made manifest in duality. My last drop of nectar before liberation. My key to enter home. My Vajrayogini. Back in early 2014, when I felt that life was basically a "wall" for me, I met with a Vedic Astrologer in an attempt to get a glimpse of anything beyond that "wall". As I'm sure for all us, there is always something beyond the wall, but knowing it provides some hope when you feel like throwing in the towel. One question that I had asked was rather intense, and I didn't know that it would lead me in a particular route. I had asked what was the purpose of all my spiritual practices? I've had a passion for the esoteric mysteries since boyhood, but started to feel like it was an entertainment-hobby. In other words, what are the fruits of this labor? I didn't really believe in the "do this and that" and you'll get to heaven dribble, provided that, for me, that sounds like an outright attempt to control/dominate someone. The astrologer had simply responded to my spiritual question with simply more information about myself, my intuitive abilities, etc. I was left thinking to myself that he didn't answer my question. However, I realize I wasn't ready for the answer, which was really a deep philosophical question that was to unfold for me as opposed to be outright told. Sans any external permission-slip, when I'm ready, the answers will unfold. To really get the grasp of my current understanding, I needed to psychologically depose myself and my beliefs/thoughts connected with my emotional body. Though they're teachers that express this process as unnecessary, it is nonetheless what I painfully went/going through. To really separate myself, my awareness from the story-identity-ego, is really being your own psychoanalyst trying to figure out why I believe in my short-comings. Going though this is to dive into your shadow side and face your demons. Where it seems that every other pre-2014 teaching I had come across and practiced was geared towards an outward divinity, usually one with it's own ego-identity story, to help with my life, I began moving more into going within. Inside I found emotional memories (blockages/binds/attachments) that seemed to manifest my personal limitations. I can no longer find where I discovered this interpretation, however, I like seeing religion defined as re-legion, where the many become one. Through the sanskrit word yoga, we have the word yoke, meaning to bind. Spirituality seems to be best defined as dealing with spirit. So, within the symbolism of our metaphysics, we're given a glimpse of the answer that I was seeking. Through these symbols we find the aim of religion and yoga is to make an individual whole and complete, which I believe is the merge between spirit and matter originally found within the symbol of the equilateral cross. This is the merge between the Higher Self (spirit) and Ego-Identity-Story (matter/maya/samsara). To bridge the gap between spirit and matter is my aim whenever I take part in religious, yogic, spiritual practices. It is powerful to simply be in the "intent" of making that one's goal, as I do believe the universe hears through the law of attraction. The heavens of the astral plane, or celestial-abode, that form-worshipers seek to attain is still within the illusion, maya, as described by yogis. Though such abodes are excellent heights to aim for, and I'm not here to deter anyone as I would love to make such pit-stops myself, but I seek the truth of myself/Self. Moreover, I prefer the idea of the many attempting deep inner practices (yoga) and coming together to discuss our findings (religion) to better understand the nature of Spirit (spirituality). Now, I really can't identify myself, my identity-story, with the person that I was pre-2014. Any memory of those times that come up, seem to come up to be cleared. I'll use NLP, or just imagine my present self sending love to that self in that memory, if need be. That seems easier then dissecting and judging (seeking the truth, not punishing) that former aspect of myself. Overall, the emotion just needs to be cleared.
As I see it as I continue on my hero's journey, my goal is to continue to further myself to my Self. To unfold and unravel that which has limited me from reaching my true potential and accept the truth of myself. To bridge the gap of understanding and experiencing unlimited possibilities. To gain knowledge and experience wisdom. To come closer to the inner love and light within. Enlightenment. Reaching this full expression of Spirit, I hope to be liberated from all my limitations. I think that's a way we can bridge the gap between: spirit-matter; brahman-brahma (kether-malkuth); atman-atom; and A'tem (Egypts first realized man)-Adam (Hebrews first man). It's our birthright, to face crucifixion on the equilateral cross. In essence, all seeking and knowledge is a result of duality. Duality is merely the illusory fabric of creation for which we play our roles (dual; creation). Provided that all within the illusion is still an illusion (maya), a product of samsara, all knowledge, though attempting to get you closer to the truth, is in essence a falsehood. Knowledge is merely a thought, and the goal is Gnowledge. Hence, the "Book of Lies".
Mediation Experience: I went in for my nightly meditation post drafting my prior post on how the "Enlightened" do not worship "mundane" deities. Under my meditation, I noticed my ego-identity didn't take kindly to the idea of leaving Krishna (Vishnu) and Shiva. In fact, I don't think I'll ever be able to fully in this ego-identity. As I am further mediating, attempting to switch from "I Am" body presence-awareness to "I" surrounding-presence awareness, to "Emptiness" non-awareness, running my channels, and moving my feeling sensation from body-feeling to attempting to feel the empty-space surrounding each of my atoms, I tried to end up thought-free but messages kept coming through. (My own or beyond, I don't know?). Nonetheless, I had to write thereafter. Brahma/Generator: Do not be fully satisfied with creation where you may mistake it as perfection and stop creating, that is why Brahma as creator is not worshiped. Brahma is your root and sacral chakra, which are associated with metaphorically grounding and creating within fertile soil. Transcending Brahma would be to recognize my own ability to manifest properly through my lower chakras. Such would be the law of attraction teachings, which I'm going to call "Nature-Realization" because it is recognizing the laws of nature (Vedas). (Other teachers call it "Law of Attraction" or "Self-Actualization). The Buddha said "thoughts create reality". So this would be the First Jewel of Buddhism, keeping the company of good thought. SANGHA. Mastery over Brahma. Vishnu (Krishna)/Operator: Vishnu is the "Higher Self" and "Krishna" is the avatar of that "Higher Self. Vishnu is properly managing what has been created by Brahma. Transcending Vishnu (Krishna) would be to love all creation. Vishnu is the solar plexus and the heart chakra. The solar plexus is our "free-will" to make choices, so such choices should be made from the heart, as in compassionate. Follow Krishna's playful example. The spoken word of Krishna in the Bhagavad-Gita describe most eloquently the Second Jewel of Buddhism in following one's own heart as "divine will". DHARMA. Mastery over Vishnu. Shiva/Destroyer: Shiva is the ability to transcend a situation. To transcend is to destroy a prior concept by simply moving beyond it. Shiva was the most difficult for me provided he is my favorite masculine archetype. Nonetheless, in meditation, I sensed ..."what do you think I represent, you're suppose to transcend me". The feeling was of a great congratulations and feeling of significant release. Under the tradition of Shiva (Saivite), yogis do not worship Shiva in form (Hari; Name given to Vishnu) but as the formless (Hara) symbolized as the Lingam. Moreover, recognizing Shiva as myself, as "awareness" seems to be the gist of yogic (unification) philosophy/experiential meditation. Another words, I am these archetypes and I need to be "aware" of that. I am Brahma (Generator), I am Vishnu (Operator), and I am Shiva (Destroyer). G-O-D. To accept that I am G-O-D, is a crazy pill to swallow and one my ego-identity needs to resolve. However, as the teachings of tantra describe, in identifying as "Awareness" you're identifying yourself as the "Higher Self". The "Higher Self" (Turya) according to the Siva Sutras is the master of being "aware" during three "witnessing" states of consciousness: 1) Waking; 2) Sleep; 3) Deep Sleep. In Advaita Vedanta, Shiva is "Awareness" and Shakti is "Witness". The dance between Awareness-Witness, God-Goddess, Yin-Yang, Masculine-Feminine, Divine Will-Divine Love, we seek to find a balance, harmony. This would be the Third Jewel of Buddhism. Like the Tao, words cannot truly describe, enlightenment. BUDDHA. Mastery over Shiva. As a "witness", mastery over "awareness". Realization of Self and Nature. Conclude:
For transcendence: I take refuge in the Three Jewels. SANGHA. DHARMA. and BUDDHA. (P.S. My definitions of the "Three Jewels" are different from main stream.) The Service to Others and Service to (s)elf is the dual representation of the shifting energetics the Earth is phasing through based on the teachings of The Law of One . The Law of One is material that is said to be obtained through channeling of an entity believed to have brought these original teachings to Egypt, Ra. Based on these works, we're currently going through a "Harvest", where those of us in Service to Others are being "harvested" from those in Service to (s)elf. I guess you can compare it to the "end of days" scenario espoused under Christianity, but with a New Agey flare. Service to Others Service to Others is the recognition that we are One, we are mirrors reflecting each other. Under such recognition we proceed to understand that what we do to each other, we do the One, we do to our own Self (Higher Self). This is an understanding that seeks to unite and serve each other as if we are serving the One, as if we are serving our true Self. It is the understanding that the belief in "lack", the root of all evil (fear), is an illusion, and we all have the ability to take domain of our illusion and live in peace, prosperity, and sanity. To imagine, one can only conjure a Utopian Heaven. Here, one would love others as highly as one can love his/her own Self (including Lower Self). Take a look at Bernie Sanders platform and socialist belief system. But first, do away with the ego-identity that is Bernie Sanders and look to the heart of his platform, and do away with the socialist societies that were established by an "any means necessary" method and look to the heart of socialist philosophy. When looking at the heart of the political platform and socialist philosophy, the heart being what attracts people to the influence of those ideologies, you may be able to conjure the same feelings as expressed in the Service to Others model described above. There's no need to worry about sharing in an abundant universe (Law of Attraction), when there is no "lack", no fighting over resources, no fighting over knowledge (being correct), we understand better the Heaven we are trying to bridge on Earth, in Service to Others. Nonetheless, to establish such a Utopian society is often countered by those that cannot believe it can be established. Such belief is rooted within us because we have carried so much faith in "lack". Holding such faith in "lack", with the belief that establishing a Utopian society is a delusional fantasy, one can move through life in fear, in fear that needs will not be met, a theory that seems to establish the Service to (s)elf path. Service to (s)elf The "self" under Service to (s)elf in describing The Law of One, is not the "Higher Self" but the "Lower Self", or ego-identity. It's the part of us that we use to express ourselves in the illusion. The problem with the "Lower Self" is that we've used our "Lower Self" to make decisions for us that our "Higher Self" should be making. The "Higher Self" can be described as the spirit, Atman, complete aspect of yourself connected with the infinite, Brahman. As best described in the Taoist tradition, our physical body, matter, needs to develop the spirit body through certain esoteric practices, which would provide access to the "Higher Self". Hence, bridge matter and spirit. The Service to (s)elf is the concept that we live in a limited, "lack" universe, where resources must be reserved. With such a belief, we find "competition" and struggles to obtain access to resources. Competition has the ability to "bring out the best in each other" or to "essentially step on each other". In service to "self", rather than the sharing of the Utopian society, you have the hierarchy and competition for resources akin more-so to a Capitalist society. When resources begin to dwindle, competition loses the "bring out the best in each other aspect" and the society focuses on "stepping on each other" to obtain needs and wants, all because of "fear" of not having needs and wants met. Now as done with Bernie Sanders, do the same with Donald Trump and simply look at the heart of his platform, including building-walls, separation. Moreover, Trump as a Republican and a business capitalist, take a look at the conservative ideology of the free-market in a Darwinian "the strong survive" competition for resources (Water, Oil, Etc.) model. At the heart of such philosophy you feel the need to protect the "Lower Self" the ego-identity that moves with the fear due to the belief in "lack". You must go out there and "do" (Yang; Masculine) as opposed to "receive" from the abundant universe (Yin; Feminine). There is also "limitation", just as you have those amassing resources, you have the counter-part of those at the mercy of those claiming title to the resources. Add the belief in limitation that causes "stepping on others", which then leads to fighting over resources, you are led to "fear" that someone who also believes in lack is hungry for more and will try to obtain "by any-means necessary". Hence, you have the building of walls, separation, all to get to the top of the food-chain and maintain a position. That would be the Service to (s)elf. Conclude
For much of life, I've tethered on both socialist and capitalist ideology with the understanding that government should be in service to the masses, but to establish a society where one can flourish based on finding his/her true potential. Nonetheless, as today's current politics, economics, and disclosures (UFOs, Planet 9, Panama Papers) unfold, it seems the Law of One "harvest" is being executed, where deep rooted issues and beliefs are being purged (challenged). Moreover, the purpose of "harvest" is to bring humans into the recognition of Fourth Density of the heart based society from a Third Density free-will based society, an evolution on this Earth. Just as humans are evolving, the animal kingdom appears to be recognizing the evolution as well with monkeys entering the stone age and allegedly beginning to create religious rituals. Between the grassroots efforts of both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, we can at least say that the "climate is changing". |
