She is like a cat in the dark and then |

Needless to say, I'm devoted to Mother Kali. In all of our stories, the feminine, the yin, the qliphoth, the dark, has been a place for the mysterious to reside. Along with the mysterious is all that which collective society may choose to ignore as She shatters paradigms. The dark is also where we sweep the parts of us that we suppress. The depths of the darkness of our subconscious may hold murky waters, particularly in the areas of the root (Death Scars) and sacral chakra (Creative Scars). Hence, the dark holds our self-inflicted inner demons. Here, I've asked Kali to walk me through my shadows to find the depths of the universe, to find the depths of myself, so that I may attain Self.
The reason for this disclaimer is due to the limited perception of Kali understood in mainstream, as many may see Her as "demonic" for those who lack insight into her symbolism. Given that She is the illusion, then yes, She is negative in the sense that she allows us to create our reality through our ego. However, She is all within the illusion, so She is the background for us to play our Heroes journey.

In the center of the underworld, the persistent seeker will encounter the bringer of light who transmits answers to the great questions regarding existence, or as the Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung stated: 'Enlightenment consists not in the seeing of luminous shapes and visions, but in making the darkness visible.' When undertaking an in-depth study of the Qabalah we can find the same message, which silently reveals that death is the gate of life, and the strongest light can be found in the darkest abyss.

In starting this blog, little did I know the journey I would be walking, or the material I would be expressing. Starting from 2014, I've noticed my writing take shape into newer and deeper aspects that I can only give credit to the Goddess. Provided that I've sensed her presence and have gladly provided my ego-identity to Her in 2015, She has been more like a companion, one that has left me mesmerized and heartsick. To Her I owe all and am in service.
You can study Kali, you can speak about Kali, you can define the forms of Kali, but when you meet Kali, you will know the difference." - Jan Fries, Kali Kaula
On this blog is my dance with Her. My psychological attempt to unite (yoga) with the beloved (Self). Here, I express my madness as I attempt to grasp and shed light into my shadow side. To wake Her up and be with Her. Here, I expose to you my inner journey moving up the inner stairwell.
